Tractor and Trailer Safari to Morte Point

With tales of notorious smugglers and wreckers, the role of Morte Point in World War II and a stop to see the local residents – Atlantic Seals -you will get a great understanding of how the National Trust now look after and care for this landscape.

To book tickets either in person at the museum or by calling 01271 870028, tickets will be paid for at time of booking. Adults £8, Children 3yrs+ £4, Children 2 and under free if sitting on an adult’s lap. Well behaved dogs welcome.

Witchcraft, Murder and Mayhem – The Story of the Bideford Witches with Nickie Joy

Were witches real? That’s a matter of belief but I’ll tell you about three women from Bideford who were accused, tryed and executed as witches in 1682. Their names were Temperance Lloyd, Susanna Edwards and Mary Trembles. In the talk you’ll find out what they did to earn their legacy and learn about how suspected witches were punished for their crimes, with a history on English witchcraft thrown in!
