Were witches real? That’s a matter of belief but I’ll tell you about three women from Bideford who were accused, tryed and executed as witches in 1682. Their names were Temperance Lloyd, Susanna Edwards and Mary Trembles. In the talk you’ll find out what they did to earn their legacy and learn about how suspected witches were punished for their crimes, with a history on English witchcraft thrown in!
Tickets are £5.
